A native of Tifton, Georgia, Jerry Ethridge brings over 35 years of experience in healthcare with a distinguished background in clinical leadership, cardiopulmonary care, and home health services. His career began in October 1989 as a Respiratory Care Aide at Tift Regional Medical Center. He later earned a diploma in Respiratory Science from Southwest Georgia Technical College (formerly Thomas Tech) in 1991.

Jerry went on to establish the Pulmonary Lab at Affinity Health Group in Tifton, where he oversaw the pulmonary function testing lab, bronchoscopy services, and TB clinic. In 2000, he returned to Tift Regional Medical Center as Director of Respiratory Services. During his tenure, he was instrumental in expanding service lines, doubling departmental capacity, and advocating for respiratory health within the community.

In 2006, Jerry earned his Associate Degree in Nursing from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Vice President of Cardiovascular and Respiratory Services. After the birth of his first child in 2008, he transitioned to Executive Director of Respiratory Services while continuing hands-on clinical practice as an ICU and ER nurse at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, GA.

By 2012, Jerry took on the role of Director of Nursing at Golden Living Center in Tifton, where he successfully led efforts to improve clinical outcomes and transform the facility into a regional top performer. His homecare journey began in 2017 with BAYADA Home Health in Roswell, GA, where he served as Clinical Manager for adult skilled nursing services. There, he specialized in caring for tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent clients, as well as individuals with catastrophic injuries.

In 2022, Jerry completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and became a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN), further enhancing his clinical and leadership capabilities.

Today, Jerry proudly serves as the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Clinical Operations at 1 Family Homecare of Georgia, LLC. He is passionately devoted to helping clients remain safely and comfortably at home—avoiding unnecessary institutional care. He resides in Lawrenceville, GA with his spouse, his mother, and two sons, Dillon and Sage. Family is his foundation, and he brings that same level of care, commitment, and compassion to every client he serves.
